  • Now in its 19th year the camp provides classes for kids from 7 to 18 years old. The camp uses the performing arts to build confidence, self esteem and teamwork; encouraging creativity and imagination. Each student is able to perform at their own comfortable level, allowing them to grow and gain confidence.

    The teachers are professionals in the performing arts and also have experience in working with and teaching young people. Teachers are hired and overseen by Semina De Laurentis, Artistic Director of Seven Angels Theatre.

    Students meet Monday though Friday from 9AM -3PM. All classes take place at Seven Angels Theatre in the historic Hamilton Park Pavilion in Waterbury. Plus, all Seven Angels Theatre students attend Mainstage shows for Free.

    Our camp uses the performing arts to build confidence, self-esteem and teamwork; encouraging creativity and imagination. Though it is a performing arts camp, there is no show at the end. Each week a presentation is performed for family and friends based on what the students have been studying during the week. This achieves the same experience of standing, speaking and performing in public. It is not necessary for a student to have any experience in the arts to come to camp.

    Each student is able to perform at their own comfortable level, allowing them to grow and gain confidence each week without being locked into a role to play. It gives the opportunity for teachers to provide more focused and one-on-one training.

    New for this year. Seven Angels Theatre will offer a camp just for 7-9 year-olds. Camp classes will be Monday-Friday 9-1 PM.

  • DATES OF CLASSES: July 5 -August 13

    SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 9am-3pm with 7-9 year olds 9-1 PM,

    TYPES OF CLASSES: Daily classes in Theatre (scene study, theatre games, improvisation, Shakespeare), Music/Voice and Movement/Dance

    LOCATION OF CLASSES: Seven Angels Theatre
