    Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury is offering
    ADULT ACTING CLASSES
    • Tuesdays
    • 6 CLASSES-March 7, 14, 28, April 4, 11, 18
    • 2 hour sessions
    • Maximum 12 students
    • 6:30-8:30PM
    • Fee: $180

    Classes are designed for adult students, age 18 and older. Teaching is based on a realistic and naturalistic approach.
    No prior experience is needed. Class size is limited to assure individualized and personalized attention. Classes are filled on a first-come basis. Each student works at his or her own skill level and pace. We provide a fun and safe environment where you can take risks and learn about acting or advance your skills.

    We reserve the right to cancel this class and return application fees based on a minimum number of registrations. Refunds are not offered for missed classes.

    Classes will be taught by Mandy Leigh Thompson
    Mandy began her early professional training with her lifelong mentor, the incredible Lenka Peterson- one of the first members of The Actor’s Studio and Tony Award nominated Broadway, film and television actress! Mandy went on to study acting and theater education at Emerson College in Boston. She is currently a recurring cast member on RUTHLESSSPECTATOR.COM staring Rob Bartlett and written by former Saturday Night Live Head Writer, Andrew Smith. On Ruthless, you can see her play characters such as Rachel Ray or Sarah Palin. Regionally, she’s played the coveted role of “Natalie” in Next to Normal opposite Broadway leading lady Sarah Litzsinger at the Adirondack Theatre Festival under the direction of Mark Fleisher. She reprised “Natalie” in Next to Normal at Seven Angels Theatre with Semina De Laurentis, where she’s also played Annie in Tom Dudzick’s touching play Over the Tavern as well as Logainne in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee directed by Janine Molinari. In NYC, Mandy has been cast in the ongoing development of the play Dixieboy Firecrackers under the direction of stage and television star, Brian Lane Green. She’s performed at Times Square’s Payan Theater in Almost, Maine. As Founding Artistic Director of Lenka Peterson Players, Mandy’s played “Eleanor”/Bizarbara" in Starmites and “Sally” in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She recently played “Emily” in the musical of Freckleface Strawberry by Julianne Moore at Playhouse on Park. Other Credits include “Sister James” Doubt, “Maddie” The Hundred Dresses, ”Catherine” Proof. Film and T.V. credits include Lifetime Movie Network: KILLED MY BFF; V-Day Film: BREAK THE CHAIN (Debbie Allen/ Eve Ensler); CouponBug.com Commercial: Pam GAMESHOW. She recently performed along side a star-studded cast in The Who’s Tommy in concert, directed by Daniel C. Levine and Jayme McDaniel, musical direction by Bryan Perri (Wicked, Dogfight, Chaplin) with Michael Seelbach, Matt Farnsworth, Jeremy Kushnier and Tricia Rapier. She’s also been joining Rob Bartlett on tour as a Bartlett this year and as a member of the sketch comedy troupe “Ruthless Women”. She is also the founder of T.H.R.I.V.E. Arts with Broadway’s Marissa Perry.
