Fresh Faces of Comedy

February 3 at 8 PM-. 3 New York City comedians take the Seven Angels Stage for a great night of fun and laughter.

IAN LARA is a standup comedian from New York City. He regularly performs at many clubs around NYC, such as The Stand Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, and Greenwich Village Comedy Club. Last year he was a part of the New York Comedy Festival and Los Angeles Comedy Festival in the spring. He’s headlined at Lafflines in Canada, as well as performances at Hecklers and The Comedy Mix. Ian’s performances also include Comic Strip El Paso, City Steam, Rockwells, Riddles, and Bananas, where he opened for Dave Attell.

JASON CHATFIELD has performed comedy all over the world, including places they think his Australian accent is a birth defect. You might have caught a fleeting glimpse of Jason on Funny Or Die, or blinked and missed him as New York correspondent for ABC News Breakfast (ABC TV), ABC Radio, Nova 100 (Radio) and The Project (TV). He is also a professional cartoonist, published daily in 34 countries in the syndicated comic strip, Ginger Meggs. He also works as a voice actor and is represented by CESD. Jason currently performs in clubs in New York City and on the road all over the US.

ERICA SPERA is the girl next door who’s tall, dark, and one of the guys. Spera is the producer of 607 Comedy, where she hosts charity shows throughout the Upstate New York area. When she isn’t having dinner with her ridiculously large family, you can find Erica performing nightly all over the big apple; doing stand up comedy clubs such as Gotham, The Stand, New York Comedy Club, and Caroline’s. Spera was most recently named a 2017 TBS Comics to Watch as per of the NY Comedy Festival. You may have seen her on TLC’s Cake Boss, Gotham Comedy Live! on AXSTV, or have heard her podcast 20 Minutes of Fire. Every Friday she co-hosts Bitches Brew, at Halyard’s Bar in Brooklyn, which has been named one of TimeOut NY’s “Best Comedy Shows”. Erica has performed at: Syracuse Funnybone, Hartford Funnybone, Albany Funnybone, Catch-A-Rising Star, Carolines on Broadway, Bananas, Gotham Comedy Club, The Stand and the New York Comedy Club.
